Pete and I had been to a tai chi camp in Maui, in 1996, but never to Camp Keanae, which sits, quietly, on the road to Hana from Kahalui. We had seen the camp from the road during our first visit. We soon re-discovered Maui, with the sunsets from the Scenic Point on the road to Lahaina as a fixed (focal) point. At this spot, people watch the sunsets in the same way as people view cherry blossoms in Japan.
